Sulley Muntari: Were Calm And Collected Ahead Of 2012 AFCON

Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari has assured local fans that the morale in the Black Stars camp is high and that every player is calm and collected ahead of the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations. He said every member of the team gets on well with each other and he believes this is a major boost as they seek to annex the continental trophy for the fifth time in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea. Its a wonderful atmosphere always in the Ghana camp because you feel at home and we are all brothers, thats the most important thing, Muntari told ESPN. We are one as a group so we move together and make sure we do everything together and we dont really fight. And we dont really do bad stuff among ourselves. He added, It keeps the motivation high. We manage to keep ourselves cool and then we obey the coach and obey ourselves. We trust ourselves and respect ourselves and we are having a great time now. The Inter player said the team is determined to end their Nations Cup trophy drought, which spans almost three decades. It is going to mean a lot because its been a long time that Ghana has won the trophy. And we are approaching there, closely. The feeling is there, so we want to do something important this year so we are training towards the competition. And we want to do something important by winning the trophy," the star said.
