Voting is underway in some 116 constituencies (save 18 in the Greater Accra region) throughout the country where the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has sitting Members of Parliament.
The Greater Accra region has postponed its parliamentary primaries to Saturday January 28th.
Mr Kobina Ade Coker, Greater Accra Regional Chairman of NDC in an interview explains that the re-scheduling is to pave way to complete branch auditing in some constituencies.
Others are to ensure that all aspirants are provided with copies of delegates list seven days before the primaries in accordance with the party�s guidelines on elections.
But attention would be on the Volta Region where some young ministers and party members are poised to derail the continued stay in parliament by certain old folks within the party.
