A Board Member of the Electricity Company of Ghana, Bernard Allotey Jacobs, says he finds it extremely bizarre and difficult to understand why some critics are lambasting him if the board he represents spends $200 on his hotel bills each night. To him, since he who works hard deserves to be paid well and considering the enormous self-sacrificing assistance he has rendered to the state service provider it was of no consequence if he is royally treated. �If the ECG calls on my service, you don�t expect me to be sleeping at bus stops�we save ECG a lot of monies (you know),� he said. When the host of �Dwaso Nsem� on Adom FM, Adakabre Frimpong Manso asked him if he does not see anything wrong with the taxpayer�s GH300 being spent on his hotel bills, Mr. Jacobs retorted �what is wrong with it, no I mean what is wrong with it?�
