Pastors Who Sell Anointing Oil In Church Are Using 'Juju

A Spiritualist, Nana Kwaku Bonsam has accused pastors who sell Anointing oil and other commodities in church of using juju. According to him, such activities are against the teachings of Christ and that pastors who engage in these practices cannot claim to be true Christians. Nana Kwaku Bonsam noted that nowhere in the Bible did Jesus recommend to pastors to sell items to their church members as it is being practiced in some churches today. Nana Kwaku Bonsam said pastors who consult spiritualists for juju capitalize on the ignorance of their church members and other persons in need to extort money from them. His comments follow a publication by the Chronicle newspaper last week that the head pastor of Jesus Miracle Church International, Prophet Kwaku Mensah, had sought the services of a spiritualist, Nana Azagli popularly known as 'Sumsum police, to enable his church flourish. Kwaku Bonsam said consulting spiritualists for church business is gradually becoming a normal phenomenon among some pastors which must be condemned. He revealed on Adom Fm that over four hundred pastors had solicited his services for juju just to see their church grow. The spiritualist said such pastors are usually boastful, commanding and cheats, knowing that their powers are not from God. Kwaku Bonsam further revealed the so-called men of God usually use items like handkerchiefs, rings, and watches suits among other. Meanwhile, General Secretary of the Pentecostal and Charismatic Council, Apostle Samuel Yaw Antwi has condemned the action by Prophet Kwaku Mensah, calling it ungodly.
