Fashion 101: Fred Nuamah And Van Vicker On Board

Episode 6 of popular fashion-oriented television show Fashion 101 on TV3 was full of exciting features this weekend, as the celebrities who had their dress styles measured and dissected, gave the panel members a lot to talk about. Founder of the Ghana Movie Awards and artiste manager Fred Nuamah needs to do a rethink of his dress code, as it appears, he isnt getting it right. On two different occasions, his suit with tucked-in shirts over a pair of sandals werent couture enough, the panel members agreed. Sandra, the hostess thought for high profile events such as those Fred was pictured at, a little more attention to detail, would have worked, while Claudia Lumor, Publisher of the Glitz Magazine thought for a celebrity of Freds caliber, those outfits werent representative enough of his public standing, more so the events he attended. Juliet Ibrahims jump suit, which she wore to a movie awards ceremony, according to Renee Boateng of Renee Q, was okay except she could have toned down on the many accessories she had on, adding that such dress codes are most apt for a barbeque and not awards ceremonies. Sandra also scored burgeoning actress and presenter Nikoleta (Nikki) Samonas as the best dressed for the week, but wondered what informed actor Van Vickers wearing of a strange rosary, which consistently has been hanging on his left elbow. This weeks Make-over segment featured upcoming Ghanaian designer Selorm of Aketesia, who gave a lucky viewer, a stunning transformation in three different looks. Next weeks episode of Fashion 101 promises to be exciting, the producers have hinted. Other celebrities who appeared on this weeks episode included songstress Sala, Nana Ama Mcbrown, Eazzy, Nana Aba Anamoah, Nadia and Sydikat Buari, Vicky Zugah and Yvonne Nelson, among others. The fashion tips also centered on Pencil skirt, and how it can be used appropriately. Fashion 101 airs every Saturday 8:30am on TV3, and 9:30 pm in the evening on CineAfrik on Multi TV. It also airs every Sunday 3:30pm on GhOne. Fashion 101 is powered by Emerald Paradise production, and is executive produced by Sandra Ankobiah.
