There was no usual pomp and pagentry when Ghana players arrived from the Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday afternoon. The Black Stars were severely criticized after failing to reach the final of the 2012 edition in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea. All but striker Asamoah Gyan touched down at the Kotoka International Airport with no red carpet reception despite finishing fourth. The move is a disapproval to the team�s failure to make it to the finals of the competition. �Only a few fans who were in printed T-shirts of the Ayew brothers made noise at the airport,� a Joy fm reporter said on Sunday. �I also saw relatives of Anthony Annan at the airport.� Ghana were expecting to win this year�s tournament in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea for the first time in 30-years.
