GHALCA Elect New Executive Board Members

The Ghana League Clubs Association(GHALCA) has conducted its executive elections on Thursday,February 16 2012 at the Media Centre of the Accra Sports Stadium. Alhaji Ibrahim Raji Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Sekondi Eleven Wise was voted the chairman unopposed, as Isaac Coomson of Sparky FC was voted the vice chairman polling forty(40) votes. Albert Aryeetey Commey of Accra Hearts of Oak polled 83 votes, while John Ansah of Ebusua Dwarfs also pulled 64 votes to win the two slots allocated for the Premier League Clubs representatives on the GHALCA executive board. The Division One is represented by Kofi Poku of Asante Kotoko and Division Two by Samuel Abuabire aka Kattaa of Maamobi Midjiland FC. George Amoako was voted as the Treasurer. The GFA Vice-President Jordan Anagblah tasked the new GHALCA executives to be transparent and hardworking to ensure a better GHALCA. The new executives will be sworn into office on the 1st of April this year.
