NPP Slams 'Castle Propaganda Engineers'

The NPPs Communications Team has hit back at what they described as desperate, irresponsible and criminal attempts by the government's "inexperienced" communication Team to smear their flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo saying no amount of false allegations and dirty campaign against their 2012 Presidential Candidate will succeed. In a strongly-worded statement issued on Thursday, the NPP accused the Director of Communications at the Presidency, Koku Anyidoho and Presidential Aide, Stan Dogbe, as masterminds behind claims that Nana Addo allegedly fondled the breast of a make-up artist of GTV in a documentary by Jareth Merz in his feature movie - An African Election. "This smear campaign from the Presidency only confirms the overwhelming perception out there that President John Atta Mills and his government have really lost touch with the concerns of the ordinary people of Ghana....We wish to send a clear message to the President and his propagandists that no such highly incompetent, non-performing government can hope to win an election by prosecuting a campaign of lies, insults and character assassination," the statement said.
