About 12 shops and 5 containers were destroyed by fire yesterday at Suame Magazine Roundabout in Kumasi in the Ashanti region.
The fire which started around 9:46 pm destroyed shops and property within a 40meter radius and took the fire service 3hours to extinguish. The fire also destroyed sections of a gas station close by.
There were no casualties.
