Reports reaching Radio Ghana indicate that some non-performing State Enterprises will be either privatized or sold out to prospective entrepreneurs.
While some critics are kicking against the move, others believe the involvement of the private sector is the best option.
Speaking to Radio Ghana, Minister of State in charge of Private Sector Development, Alhaji Rashid Pelpuo, said the country's economic structure and dynamics have changed and therefore due diligence is being done to ensure that those enterprises that are not doing well are given out for public-Private partnership.
Alhaji Pelpuo mentioned some of the affected State Enterprises and justified why they must be privatized.
