Ghanaian-owned beverage company Kasapreko Company Limited (KCL) has held a consumer launch for its new product Alomo Silver in Kumasi.
This was after the product was recently unveiled by Otumfuo Osei-Tutu II, The Asantehene, at a colourful ceremony attended by the Ashanti Regional Minister Hon. Samuel Sarpong in Kumasi.
The consumer launch took place at the Abyss Park in Ash Town with other activations held at popular Kumasi pubs,+2, X5 and Echoes.
Alomo Silver is a fine blend of natural herbal extracts that delivers smooth taste with a hint of mint, lower alcohol percentage and the added qualities of the original classic Alomo Bitters.
Marketing Manager at KCL, Mr Gerald Bonsu, explained that the rationale behind the drive activation was to bring the new product closer to consumers.
Mr Bonsu said Alomo Silver which is smooth to taste with a hint of mint, contains herbs that have been used since ancient times for maintaining good health.
He added that the drink is best enjoyed straight, ‘on the rocks’ or with one’s favourite mixer.
Celebrities like Lil Win and Nana Boroo outdoored the new Alomo Silver to the crowd. Lil Win performed some of his hit-tracks while sampling activations were organized for consumers to enjoy first drink served.
According to Kasapreko, consumers should watch out for the Alomo Silver sampling train will hit neighbourhood bars soon.
