For the first time in eight years, a Ghanaian registered airline, Star Bow airline, is to fly internationally.
Speaking to journalists aboard a BAe146 aircraft, on its maiden flight to Cotonou, Dr Brock Friesen, Co-CEO of the airline, said the airline would fly the Accra-Cotonou route five times a week.
He said this would be increased to seven times a week in due course.
Dr Friesen gave the assurance that passengers of all categories would be satisfied according to their particular needs.
He said the airline would link Accra to other major cities, adding that it's next flight was to Abidjan in September.
