As part of its 25th anniversary celebration, GLICO has dedicated the month of November to its cherished customers.

Edward Forkuo Kyei, Managing Director of GLICO LIFE, in an interview with CITY & BUSINESS GUIDE said knowing the importance of customers, GLICO has devoted the month of November as the customer service month to give special attention to policy holders and also to let them know how much we appreciate them for being with us all these years.

He stated that the move is also to give real meaning to the theme for the year-long celebration, which is 25 years together in Business: Our customers; our focus.

He noted that the theme was chosen to show appreciation to the companys valued customers for the important role they played towards the growth and success of the company.

Mr. Kyei said the companys customers had patronized its services over the years, stressing that this was the appropriate time to show their appreciation to them.

We came in at a time when insurance was not too popular in Ghana but our loyal customers have helped us to come this far. During the celebration, existing and potential customers would benefit from free funeral policy package and receive branded souvenirs.

Apart from that, top level management personnel are going to interact with policy holders across the country.

He said both board members and management personnel will be serving at the various customer points in our various branches across the country. This will afford them the opportunity to take feedback from customers.

He added that there would be corporate social responsibility programmes during which donations would be made to some corporate bodies and individuals.

He indicated that even though the month of November was being set aside for customers, all products and services that would be introduced and improved upon will continue after the celebrations.
