The Ghana Airports Company Ltd (GACL) has announced the temporarily closure of the Kumasi Airport to allow for some rehabilitation works.
A statement issued by the management of the GACL said “The Ghana Airports Company Ltd (GACL) wishes to inform the general public that the Kumasi Airport will be closed on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 for rehabilitation works on the runway.”
“The Airport will be re-opened for normal operations on Wednesday, December 19, 2012. “
“GACL regrets the inconvenience caused as a result of the intended closure and wishes to assure the Domestic airlines and the general public of its commitment to ensure that safety standards are maintained.”
