Scores of domestic air-travelers were left stranded and fuming with rage at the Kotoka International Airport after their flights to other parts of the country were cancelled without any prior notice due to shortage of aviation fuel.
Domestic airline operators have grounded all domestic planes as a result of the shortage.
The shortage, peacefmonline learnt, will last for at least three days.
Reliable sources told Peacefmonline that the main supplier is facing challenges with the supply of the product. There are indications however that the commodity might be supplied on Wednesday.
Alternative arrangements have meanwhile been put in place for the affected travelers by some of the airline operators.
