The only distillery company in Ghana is giving its loyal customers the opportunity to enjoy quality liquor and also win a promotion it has christened ‘The Chill and Win Promotion’.

GIHOC Distilleries Company Limited says it is giving way exciting prizes including a trip to Brazil, 40 inch LED television sets, mobile phones, motorbikes and a grand prize of a brand new Hyundai Elantra 2014 model.

To participate in ‘The Chill and Win Promotion’, which will span over the next ninety (90) days, customers are to buy the regular or ‘PET’ bottle of Mandingo, Herb Afrik or Castle Bridge and text the code one sees to, short code 1762 to all networks, after scratching the red sticker with gray panel on the bottle, for a charge of 30 pesewas.

Explaining the motive for rewarding its consumers, the Managing Director of GIHOC Distilleries Company Limited, Mrs. Kay Kwao Simmonds stated that, the GIHOC has been well accepted by Ghanaian since its establishment in 1958 and in spite of the fact that it the only distillery in the country, it has not rested on its oars but has manufactured some of the best alcoholic beverages the world has seen.

To her, this feat has been chalked with the support of loyal customers who have stuck to the quality brands GIHOC has produced over the years and it is therefore right to show appreciation by rewarding them.

She also hinted that the wholly owned government of Ghana limited Liability Company would be looking to extend its distribution into the West-African sub region and the first step to that is by registering two of its brands in Nigeria.

Mrs. Kay Kwao Simmonds further gave the assurance that GIHOC will strive to still be the preferred alcoholic beverage company by producing the best, the finest and the smoothest alcoholic beverages that Ghanaians deserve.

“…this is just the beginning; the best is yet to come. If it’s not from GIHOC…..Tweeeeeaaaaaaa,” she said.
