Tigo’s ‘Free Bonto’ product reign supreme at the just ended Ghana telecom Awards. The ‘Product of the Year’ category has in the last four years been one of the most sought after award as telecommunications companies fiercely compete with each other to in their quest to increase their subscriber base.
‘Free Bonto’ is the first of its kind in the telecommunications industry in Ghana to take away bonus restrictions, a game-changer according to many. Subscribers get double bonus airtime when they recharge with GHS 2.00 and triple bonus airtime for GHS 5.00 or more.
The bonus airtime can be used to call both local and international networks, send text messages, and browse the internet.
