Commenting, Patricia Obo-Nai, CEO Vodafone Ghana said:

‘’I am deeply honored to receive these awards. It is truly humbling to receive recognition for one of my passions, which is about driving female’s participation in STEM. Indeed, Ghana will make immeasurable strides in economic growth and development if we are able to close the gender gap and empower the next generation of female scientists. I would like to use this opportunity to call on other females to help push this agenda.’’

The telecommunications giant also collaborated with Women in STEM-Ghana to inspire over 200 STEM girls in the Ashanti region, last year.
