CEO Of Eye Express Receives Special Recognition Award

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Eye Express Dr Naa Kowah A. Agyemfra, has been awarded the special recognition award, Practitioner of the Year, at the 2022 Ghana Business Standard Awards.

The 2022 Ghana Business Standard Awards seeks to celebrate organizations committed to remarkable business standards in their sectors and industry leaders breaking barriers of excellence across the Ghanaian business region and the world at large.

Eye Express is a family eye care centre specialized in treating all diseases relating to the eyes.

Elaborating on the journey since the launch of Eye Express in 2012, Dr Agyemfra said, “Training, passion and proper time management led me to start Eye Express.”

“In no time, I realised I had too much time on my hands, my savings and investments had grown steadily, and I could contribute to making eye care services readily available, accessible and affordable. I had developed resilience to maintaining two jobs effectively and efficiently till today. Furthermore, these qualities enabled me fulfil my duties as a wife and a mother. I give all the attention and dedication to my family when it is needed,” she stated.

Eye Express brand is known as one of the best in primary eye treatment and education. The Eye Express brand stands for excellent customer service experience and care. In addition, Eye Express is the home of authentic, quality, trendy and fashionable frames and sunglasses.

After the launch of Eye Express in 2012, Dr. Agyemfra noted that family and friends eagerly offered money, as they saw the passion, commitment and dedication, and were willing to support. “I only accepted the needed amount and worked tirelessly to pay before the agreed period.”

“Integrity, strong relationships, humility and respect are my core values. These values have gone a long way to sustain and propel the Eye Express brand both locally and internationally,” she highlighted.

The Awards recognizes standard makers, excellence achievers and responsible organizations and individuals who adhere to the local business requirements while consistently improving their organization’s performance. 43 top companies and individuals in Ghana were recognized.

The Ghana Business Standard Awards (GBSA) provides a platform to encourage the introduction of standard processes, services, or products and the improvement of existing methods or practices to affect positive change in businesses in Ghana.
