Coming from a President who has superintended over a complete reversal of Ghanaian fortunes, and whose very status is one attained by way of serendipity, a sheer matter of coincidence riddled with errors, innovative vote rigging, unannounced state of emergency, and many more curses of a non-functioning government, John Mahama's outrageous, uncalculated, and pedestrian manner of uttering unguarded statements does not surprise Ghanaians anymore. Such is the dilemma of the failed State whose people were bluntly reminded by the NDC to take their passports and leave if the kitchen got too hot for them.

We have an NDC leadership that has acquired naught but the capacity to destroy good systems, steal but not generate wealth for the nation, and blast the good things that people painstakingly strive to build. The age-old idiom, "empty barrels make the most noise", seems to be customised for John Mahama, for it fits his disposition perfectly. After all, the NHIS collapsed under his era and was replaced by the cash and carry system. Under his shambolic governance, the currency depreciated by 300%. Due to his lack of vision, his government was unable to generate income to advance the country, hence the excessive borrowing that plunged the country back to HIPC levels.

Unless he is taught to tell the truth, President John Mahama will continue to give Ghanaians false promises in a failed attempt to tranquilise us temporarily as he continues with his diabolic acts of chicanery and perceived unmatched corruption. But how can John Mahama see good when he sees evil in every kind gesture or superb idea that Nana Akufo-Addo puts to Ghanaians. Is it not a fact that only evil can see evil? How many times has John Mahama failed the nation? His associates, the thieves and modern mobsters, were helped to steal the nation's money with impunity. Woyome was dashed 51 million GHs at the time the exchange rate was approx GHs1.5=$1 (say 34 million US Dollars); Waterville was involved in the theft of scores of millions of Euros; moneys were paid for inflated and non-existent hypothetical projects . Their book of lies, The Green Book, mostly speaks of artistic impressions of projects that are not even in the pipeline just yet.

RLG was given millions of dollars to engage in reforestation, but failed due to embezzlement and corruption. Millions of dollars went into a guinea fowl farm with a count of 2 million birds that were nowhere to be seen, because according to the NDC, they flew to Burkina Faso to forage. The same RLG was given 25 million cedis to train 15000 youth, but ended up training 3000 only. All these moneys were not retrieved by government, and the criminals are still walking free. Woyome, in spite of a ruling given against him two years ago, is still walking free with the money in his pocket.

The Ameri deal created a financial loss to the State of 290 million US Dollars; the ridge hospital caused the embezzlement of 80 million dollars; the circle interchange robbed the nation of over 100 million dollars; the kasoa interchange stole from Ghanaians over 75 million dollars; the runway resurfacing of Kumasi airport stole from the people over 15 million dollars; and in every project that John Mahama and his cronies embarked on, Ghanaians were defrauded off tens and hundreds of millions of dollars.

John Mahama claims the NPP ancestry abandoned the struggle for independence, yet three out of the six stalwarts of independence are the father and uncles of Nana Akufo-Addo, flagbearer of the NPP. This is the ironic lack of basic information that even a kindergarten child would have at their finger tips that President Mahama doesn't. He claimed expansion of the Takoradi harbour , which will eventually create 3000 jobs. Unfounded lies that are inexplicable by all means! Shame onto you Mr President. You have caused us to bury our heads in indignity for the kind of person that the nation has allowed to grab the reins of Power, but we promise you #NeverAgain.

What Ghanaians do not know about the Tamale airport is that the runway was extended by the Kufuor administration and equipped with sophisticated ILS (Instrument Landing System). The arrival and departure terminals were expanded. Security systems were installed including X-ray machines and all. The first aircraft to land there since was a South African Airways Airbus 340 that is as heavy as a Boeing 747-400 with the Bafana Bafana soccer team on board for the CAF 2008 games. So it is never the historic thing that ever happened at Tamale airport when an aircraft took off with Haj pilgrims from there. It was Kufuor, who worked on the airport. The NDC just repainted the walls, but found an excuse to steal 100 million dollars from the coffers as if they built a new airport. John Mahama should desist from cheap pedestrian politics that add to the frustration that people discern in him.

Folks, there are two kinds of lies, the evil and the innocent. The former are like those sputtered our way by John Mahama and his visionless, aimless, clueless, and hopeless government. If the President believes the preposterous mendacities that he is making against the NPP, let him be reminded that  the Ofankor-Apedwa stretch is incomplete and the other side of the double-carriage way remains unattended to, 8 years on since NDC came to Power. The CMB (Abuja) road in downtown Accra is worse than a bush road, a testimony of his shameful failure. If the President fails to remember that it was Nana Akufo-Addo's lineage that fought to give us the independence that we had, which he took away by enslaving Ghanaians, then he should be cited for treason because a lie against the rich history of Ghana is just as treasonable as planning mayhem and pandemonium.
