Often times, we marry without testing ourselves to see if we can control the woman we marry. Controlling the woman you marry does not necessary mean commanding your wife here and there; it means being in a position that your wife can recognize you as the head and submit to you.

There are certain things to take into consideration to ascertain whether your wife may or may not submit to you as her husband. These qualities include: Age, Societal Status, Financial Status, Academic Status, Physical qualities, etc. Exclusive to www.adwoaadubianews.com.

Age:

There is a recommendable age range or difference for people to get married. If a man will be younger than the woman he want to marry, it shouldn’t be more than four (4) years. Although other factors contribute to that; apart from the age, it is also very important aspect of the marriage. It is often difficult for a woman who is over ten (10) years older than her husband to submit to the husband’s leadership. The woman regards or see the husband as her younger brother and therefore submitting to or taking decisions with him becomes a very difficult task to her. Decision making becomes a challenge and your leadership is often stripped from you. This makes the law of marriage according to Ephesians 5:23 null. Therefore marry a woman you can control, as a man.

Societal Status:

The societal status of a man plays a key role in his marriage life. When a man has a high reputation in the society, her wife greatly respect him or accord him with a special respect regardless of the other conditions. The respect and recognition given to the man by the society makes the wife see him as a highly dignified personality and therefore accord him the necessary respect. It can be the other way only when the man fails to lead a life that reflects his social standing. That is to say; a woman or wife can disrespect a man (husband) with societal recognition if the man lives a wayward life such as alcoholism, violence, thievery, etc.

Financial Status:

Women naturally love money and often respect a man who has a very good financial standing. Having a good financial standing does not necessarily mean having money alone; it definitely goes beyond money to acquiring wealth and investments in bonds, securities, companies and many more. It is only rare that a woman will have a financial status better than the husband and still submit to the leadership of the man. Although some women can; it usually don’t work on the larger scale. It is therefore necessary to take the necessary precaution before committing yourself to such a marriage union. Exclusive to www.adwoaadubianews.com.

Academic Status:

A lot of marriages are in a bad shape today due to the woman having an academic qualification higher than the man. Most women find it difficult submitting and playing their roles as a wife to a man she has academic qualification lower than her. Most of them want the man to accord them a certain degree of respect due to her ability to excel to a certain level academically. Sometimes, cooking, washing, cleaning, etc becomes difficult for them to do because they think such roles belong to the low class. It is therefore necessary to marry a woman with academic qualification lower than yours or better still seek guidance before marrying a woman who has a higher academic qualification than the man. The man should also, strive to upgrade his academic status.

Physical qualities:

Most women are attracted to men who are well-built in structure. Women who are well-built in structure than their men often bully them…lol… Statistics showed in 2017 that 2,049 men were beaten by their wives. This is even with men who were bold enough to report to the appropriate office. So imagine the number of the victims who could not report for the records. Although, it is not always the case, every man should be mindful of this and make sure he do not entangle himself with this challenge. Exclusive to www.adwoaadubianews.com.

In conclusion, you need to assess your ability to control the kind of woman you want to marry, as a man. Some women may be older in age, have a good social standing than you, financially stable than the man, have a higher academic qualification or be well-built than the man but still submit to the leadership of then man. Men still need to be vigilant in assessing their wife-to-be on the above-mentioned qualities before committing themselves to an everlasting bond marriage.
