GLICO GROUP, providers of insurance and financial services is once again celebrating its Customers in this month of November 2014.
This annual event is being organized to recognize and appreciate its customers who are the foundation and springboard of its successful business operations all these years.
“Companies exist to serve customers; there is no better way to celebrate them than by appreciating their goodwill”, commented Nana Efua Rockson, Head of Corporate Affairs & Marketing of GLICO GROUP.
Series of activities and events have been planned to appreciate customers and policy holders. Throughout the month of November, policy holders will be treated to exceptional service in all GLICO branches nationwide as well as receive branded GLICO souvenirs.
Again, we are using this opportunity to interact with our clients and policy holders about their experiences, challenges, and thereby gain insights into ways GLICO can intensify its service delivery through our planned “Policyholders and Collaborators Fora”. “We just want to hear from the people we are here to serve,” added Nana Efua Rockson, “We are ready to listen to ideas regarding how our companies can offer improved value”.
A key feature for the customer service month celebrations is GLICO’s social responsibility of giving back to society, especially the communities in which we operate. During this month long celebrations, all GLICO LIFE area offices staff will interact with surrounding communities, enlightening parents and children on the importance of education and planning for the future of their wards with the GLICO Education Endowment Policy (GEEP).
Aside this, staff are poised to offer “valued” blood to replenish regional blood banks as well as donating to non-governmental institutions to solve societal challenges with under privileged members of society.
To crown the celebrations will be the official opening of the GLICO Airport branch, located on Aviation Road, Airport and also the official launch of the 10th anniversary celebrations of GLICO HEALTHCARE. “It is an exciting month for all GLICONAINS as we offer our very best to our clients, policyholders and stakeholders” remarked Nana Efua Rockson.
Traditionally, the Customer Service Month is an initiative of Mr. K. Achampong-Kyei, Executive Chairman of GLICO GROUP. When asked why it was important to appreciate customers, he remarked that: “With all the work that needs to get done daily to offer value, it is easy to forget about being grateful to the people that matter most to our business. As the Executive Chairman, it is critical for our employees, as well as myself, to be proactive in showing appreciation to our customers and partners. Customer service is an everyday occurrence and is embedded in the very heart of our operations.
However, in an effort to demonstrate GLICO’s high dedication to its customers, we have chosen one month to celebrate them and November marks the penultimate month to GLICO’s anniversary annually”.
Instructively, GLICO, has since its 25th anniversary celebrations on the theme, “25 Years Together in Business: Our Customers; Our Focus” two years ago, continued to make delivery of exceptional customer services a priority. In the past two years, GLICO has embarked on reengineering its processes and structures to offer value to customers in fulfillment of its objective of “bringing insurance to the doorstep of every Ghanaian household”.
