The Customer Experience Consortium (CXC), a business consultancy specialising in the areas of sales, customer service and leadership training is organising a first-ever sales training workshop specifically designed for sales and marketing personnel of media houses across the country.

The two-day workshop dubbed Media Sales Boot Camp (MSBC) 2015 is bringing together individuals from the print (newspapers and magazines), electronic (radio and print), outdoor and online media houses.

At this seminal workshop, participants would get to listen to and interact with seasoned professionals such as Kwabena Akuamoah Agyekum, Executive Director of CIMG; McBen Adu-Asamoah, Managing Director of Telemedia; Nana Efua Rockson, ‎Head of Corporate Affairs and Marketing of GLICO Group; Raymond Ahiadome, Chief Strategist of Brisk World Ventures; Nashiru Idrissu, Head of Group Business and Market Intelligence of StarLife Assurance Ghana Ltd; Kwame Gyan, ‎Manager - Brands & Communications Properties at Airtel Ghana, among others.

The workshop, which is taking place at Sunlodge Hotel, Tesano on the 29th and 30th of October 2015, will be facilitated by sales and customer service coach, author J. N. Halm, the Chief Service Officer of CXC.

Media houses that have already confirmed their participation officially so far include Viasat 1, TV Africa, Business & Financial Times, The Finder , New Statesman, Ghana Business & Finance, Exclusive Men’s Magazine, DDP Outdoor, Businessghana.com, Rainbow Radio, etc.

It is the expectation of the organisers that as the selling skills of participants are enhanced, there will be a resultant increase in the bottom line of their media houses.
