Rihanna loves big, bold looks. Balmain makes big, bold looks. So we’re amazed that it took so long for this match made in heaven to actually happen. The singer is the new face of the Parisian fashion line’s spring/summer 2014 campaign, which she and Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing both announced on Instagram Tuesday.
So, is Rihanna excited? Well, judging by the caption on her first photo (“Guess who’s the new BALMAIN Woman???!!!!!!! #BALMAIN #MommaImadeIt #CaribbeanGalRunTing”) we’d say so. She also thanked Rousteing for casting her in the ads. But according to Rousteing, the feeling was mutual.
