A release date for the sequel to the record-breaking superhero film, Black Panther, has been announced.
Writer and director Ryan Coogler has revealed the next installment will be released on May 6, 2022.
Coogler, who helmed the original Black Panther, made the date revelation while appearing at Walt Disney Co.'s D23 fan convention in Anaheim on Saturday.
