Afadjato South is a constituency in the Volta Region of Ghana and it’s considered a stronghold for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
It was created in 2012 and the opposition NDC has held on to power in the constituency since then.
The NDC continuously takes the lead in both presidential and parliamentary vote count in this constituency per data compared from 1996 to 2016 election; often with a huge margin
The incumbent Member of Parliament is Angela Oforiwa Alorwu-tay of the NDC and she is seeking reelection in the upcoming December 7 election.
