Two Nigerians, Okechuku Okafor, 26, and Emmanuel Godzor, 28, have been arraigned at the Nkwanta magistrate court for alleged robbery.
Okafor is facing an additional charge of possessing dried leaves suspected to be cannabis.
The suspects, whose pleas were not taken, would re-appear on January 27, this year.
Mr Douglas Kumah, Assistant Superintendent of Police, prosecuting told the court presided over by Mr Stephen Akortia that
Police intelligence reports and description of suspects by victims of series of highway robberies within the area led to the arrest of the two when they were about to stage another robbery.
