The Magistrate’s court at Agona Swedru has imposed a fine of 120 Ghana cedis on Sinapi Aba Savings and Loans Company for insanity condition at it premises.
The court presided over by Mr Isaac Apeatu ordered the company to abate the nuisance and liaise with the Environmental Health and Sanitation Department of Agona West Assembly to dislodge the toilet with immediate effect.
Prosecuting, Mr John K. Nyameah, an officer of the Agona West Environmental Health Department, told the court that despite public education the company failed to keep its business premises clean.
He said the company had connected PVC pipe from its septic tank for free flow of effluent into the public drain into the Akora River.
