Other items stolen were seven car control boards, two flat screen television sets, 15 containers of liquid soap and 30 lady’s bags.

Aboagyewaa pleaded not guilty to the charge and would re-appear on February 25.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Okyere Andam told the court presided over by Ms. Sedina Agbemava that the complainant, Mr. Fuseni Issah, was an importer and a resided at Effiakuma in Takoradi and the accused was a cleaner resident at Yamoransah near Cape Coast.

He said both Aboagyewaa and Mr. Fuseni were living in Italy and were set to come to Ghana for holidays in June last year and both made a joint container.

ASP Okyere told the court that the container was to be discharged at the Takoradi Port but was cleared at the Tema Port by Aboagyewaa without the knowledge of Mr. Fuseni.
