The Effutu Municipal Crime Officer, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Kofi Sarkodie, who disclosed this in an interview with newsmen at his office, said Mr Sam S. ASP Sarkodie said, according to Mr Asare, the university received a letter from the suspect informing them to withdraw the admission of one Victoria Adziaba, a fresh student, with regard to fraudulent documents she used to gain admission.
ASP Sarkodie said Adziaba was arrested and, when interrogated, she confirmed having been assisted by the suspect.
He said Mr Twum was arrested in his office at Takoradi, and added that items collected from his office included computer, files containing admission letters from his clients to various universities and polytechnics, rubber stamps bearing different names and institutions.
The crime officer stated further that the suspect has since been granted police inquiry bail to report frequently at the Winneba District Police Headquarters until investigations are completed.
