One Obed Appia, a Diaso based filling station manager has been declared wanted by the Ghana Police Service.
Obed is believed to have absconded with an amount of GH¢ 23,154,01.49 belonging to Top Oil Filling station in Diaso, Central Region.
His 'Wanted' status was contained in a notice issued by the Ghana Police Service on February 1st, 2017.
According to the police, the complainant, Kofi Antwi (who happens to own the facility), went to audit his manager, Obed Appiah at his Top Oil Filling station and detected that the huge amount has been stolen by the manager, who had also left his duty post.
He is believed to be hiding in Kade his hometown.
The police is therefore requesting that anyone with information about the whereabouts of the suspect should contact Diaso Police command or any nearest station or call 0243349164.
