The police have arrested a Burkinabe National, Boigouna Aloys, 43, for allegedly murdering his German partner (name withheld) and her 13-year-old daughter in a horrific scene.
The incident occurred in a town called Kokrobite, a suburb in Accra.
The mother and daughter who went missing for days were found buried by the suspect in the compound where they all lived.
Neighbors had earlier raised alarm after lodging a complaint at the Kokrobite police station about the sudden ‘disappearance’ of the German woman.
A thorough search by the police led to the bodies of the mother and daughter in a shallow grave in their house.
The police in an interview with Peace FM’s Isaac Oduro said they have commenced an investigation into the matter.
Meanwhile, the suspect, Boigouna Aloys, is in police custody.
