Mrs Nancy Thompson, Headmistress of the Ebenezer Senior High School at Dansoman, has called on student associations in the country to contribute meaningfully to the development of their former schools.
She said the role of former students in the development of their schools could not be over emphasized.
Mrs Thompson made the call at the inauguration of the 1989 Year Group of the Ebenezer Senor High School on the theme: 'This is Our Time', in Accra on Saturday.
She reminded former students that their schools contributed to their development and they should reciprocate that and commended old students of Ebenezer School for their contributions towards the upgrading of the school.
He said the Year Group had planned to fence around the school, rehabilitate the Home Science block.
Fourteen security lights which were fixed by the old students were inaugurated by Mr Frits Baffour, Member of Parliament for Ablekuma South.
The group has Reverend Anthony Adade as President, Mr Gilbert Onomah, Vice President, Mr Neil Akpaklie, Secretary, Mrs Margaret Ashley, Assistant Secretary, Mrs Evelyn Nyarko Treasurer and Mr Leo A. Lartey, Organizer/Public Relations Officer.
