Benso Oil Palm Plantation (BOPP) Basic School scored 100 percent in the 2009 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
Mr. Neneyo Mate-Kole, Managing Director of BOPP, told the GNA in an interview that 30 of the 57 candidates presented for the examination had aggregates ranging between 6 and 13 and that the worst aggregate was 18.
He said for this excellent performance, the Company has instituted an award scheme to honour the overall best teacher as well as subject teachers.
Mr Mate-Kole He expressed gratitude to the Wassa Mporhor East District Assembly and District directorate of Education for their continuous support to the school.
