The Atobiase Catholic Primary School near New Edubiase in the Adansi South District has received two separate donations of five computers and 40 dual desks valued at a total cost of GH�2,800.00.
The computers were presented by a former pupil of the school now based in the United States, Dr Adu Gyamfi.
He said this was to help strengthen the teaching of Information Communication Technology (ICT).
The dual desks were from Mr Kofi Somuah, Managing Director of Sofaamy Company Limited in Accra.
He said he was touched by the plight of the school children some of whom have no tables and chairs and promised to provide additional 30 chairs to the school.
Mr Kusi Asante, an Assistant Director of Education who received the items, thanked the donors.
Madam Mary Adu-Gyamfi, the Head Teacher, said the items would help to enhance academic work.
