Mr. Kojo Yankah, Founding President of African University College of Communications (AUCC), has been invited to receive an award for �Outstanding Contribution to Education� at World Education Congress (WEC) in Mumbai, India.
The event is scheduled for June 28 ďż˝ June 30.
A statement issued by AUCC in Accra on Wednesday and copied to Ghana News Agency in Accra, said the Jury and Council of Board members of WEC selected Mr. Yankah for his contribution to �benchmarking educational practices� in founding AUCC and leading it to attain high academic and professional standards worldwide.
It said a citation read: �Your leadership and contribution to the field of education is well known. The position that you occupy in the fraternity is strategic and iconic. As a thinker and doer, you are a role model and a believer in change.
