The University Teachers Association of Ghana, UTAG, says it has not received any formal communication from government regarding grievances on the payment of arrears of market premium.
Two weeks ago, the Association notified the National Labour Commission, NLC, that members will begin a nationwide strike within two weeks, which is, the 31st of this month.
But with just five days to go, the Association says it is unaware of any moves to get their grievances resolved.
The President of UTAG, Dr. Anthony Simons, has therefore warned of an imminent strike.
