Disabled children should not be denied access to quality education, Nana Oye Lithur has observed.
The Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection made this observation during a celebration to mark this years Day of the African Child.
Mrs. Lithur remarked that denying disabled children the access to quality education made them lack the requisite skill to be independent in future.
In view of this, her ministry in collaboration with other stakeholders is working to fully eliminate all forms of discrimination that prevent any group of people from accessing quality and friendly education.
