Atebubu college of Education in the Bono East region has organized four days program to sensitise both male and female students in the municipality on sexual harassment.
The program which was supported by the Transforming Teachers education and learning (T-TEL) is aiming to combat the high rise of sexual harassment in the municipality.
According to the programs coordinator for T-TEL, Atebubu college of education, Mr. Bashiru Amidu the sensitization will help to prevent sex for grades and the sexual harassment and any other voilence against students.
The theme for the program is "Orange the world; Generation Equality stands against rape.
The Save space focal person for the program, Madam Angelina Osei Asor also advised the students to be bold and report to the appropriate departments whenever someone disturb them with sex.
Students were selected from various junior high schools, Senior high Schools and Atebubu college of education.
Afterwards some of the students also expressed their gratitude to the Authorities of college and the T-Tel for organizing such program.
