The Jubilee House has directed the police to commence investigation into alleged efforts by some officials at the presidency to encroach lands belonging to Ghana International School.
In a press release signed by the Director of Communications at the Office of the President, Eugene Arhin, the presidency noted it did not harbour any interest in possessing the land in question.
The presidency further insisted that “no officer, agent or assign has been directed to secure and/or interfere in any matter pertaining to GIS land within Cantonments”.
Consequently, it is calling on the police to look into the matter.
“The Office of the President has made a formal complaint to the Inspector General of Police to investigate the entire matter,” the statement read.
