The First Strategic Planning Workshop organised by the Health Services Workers' Union (HSWU), has ended in Tema, with a pledge by members, to maintain cordial and harmonious working relations with their employers and management, to ensure quality health service delivery to the ordinary Ghanaian.

During the three days, the participants brainstormed on key issues that were discussed at the Union's last National Delegates' Conference in Kumasi.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr Abu Dinbon Kuntulo, General Secretary of the Union, said other strategic workshops would soon be held after which the HSWU would come out with a Policy Document to serve as a Guide and a working tool.

Mr John Akoto, Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Union, said members would continue to work behind the scenes to help promote efficient and quality health care for majority of Ghanaians.

Mr Richard Kwasi Yeboah, National Chairman of HSWU, encouraged the participants to impart the acquired knowledge and skills to their colleagues back home.

Members used the occasion to launch HSWU's Bulletin that would serve as a platform for health workers to share ideas and contribute to total quality health care in the country.

Certificates of Participation were presented to members.
