The Tarkwa Government Hospital recorded seven births on Christmas day, Tuesday December 25.
Madam Matilda Awotwe Quaicoe midwife in charge of the Maternity ward of the health facility, said five of the babies are girls and two were boys.
She said the first baby, who is a boy, was given birth to at exactly 12.10 hours on Tuesday and as at 1030 hours, two pregnant women were in labour.
Madam Quaicoe said that all the women, who were delivered of their babies through normal means, were doing well.
