President John Dramani Mahama will today grace the matriculation ceremony of Medical students of the Tamale campus of the University for Development Studies.
He will also attend a special lecture at the UDS campus to be delivered by Nigeria's former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Meanwhile, on Friday the 26th of April, President Mahama will be in Prestea in the Western Region to blow the siren for the start of work on the underground mine to be run by the Golden Star Resources Limited.
Work on the mine was one of the concerns raised by the Chiefs and People of Prestea during the Presidents Campaign tour of the region.
The mine when it becomes operational will provide the youth with employment as well as royalties for the traditional area.
