The Communications Manager of the National Health Insurance Authority, NHIA, Selorm Adonoo, has debunked reports that some of the machines used for the biometric registration of clients are faulty.
He told Radio Ghana that the link of some machines sometimes freezes for ten to 15 minutes before being activated.
This, he attributed to the pressure on the machines due to high turnout of clients for registration.
Mr. Adonoo described the system as successful and expressed the hope that the authority will soon extend the biometric system to other regions
