Bernard Mornah, General Secretary of the People's National Convention (PNC), has called on government and health authorities in the country to train more personnel with the requisite skills in treating the Ebola disease.
Bernard Mornah implored the government to invest enormously in the treatment of Ebola though there is no record of the disease in the nation.
According to him, Ebola virus has become a major scare in Africa and so, it is prudent for the country to devise ways to prevent the disease from making entry into the nation.
He however lauded the government for nursing interest to build Ebola treatment centers to combat the epidemic.
Speaking on Peace FM, he also warned the nation to stop magnifying the Ebola virus since there are equally deadly diseases in the country.
Lets invest first in the training of the medical persons...we are over-exaggerating the scare of Ebola as against other sources of death, he said.
