The First Vice president of the Ghana Federation of Traditional Medicine (GHAFTRAM), Dr. Stephen Apiary Donkor has called on Traditional herbal practitioners to be creative and innovative by adding value to their products.
On his word, the increasing demand for herbal treatment Worldwide has placed herbal medicine industry in a peculiar position, which would need creativity in order to consolidate its current feet and achieve more.
improvement in the products and dispensary would help ameliorate the suffering of the sick and also increase the revenue of the industry, he said.
Dr. Stephen Appiagyei Donkor who is also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GIFAS Health Company Limited, made this call during the launch of GIFAS Cash Promotion, which is meant to reward customers in the upcoming Christmas festivities.
the total sum set aside for this promotion is GHc 50,000 and all what customers are expected to do is to peal off the label on GIFAS Mixture after buying to reveal their prices
in order to reward all customers whether they win or not, GIFAS would giveaway branded T-shirts and other attractive prices when one produces 10 labels of GIFAS Mixture, he disclosed.
He, however, lauded the fact that herbal medicine has been embraced Worldwide, hence the need for practitioners to engage in best international practices since herbal medicine is doing a lot in complimenting orthodox medicine.
