The police have arrested a number of suspects believed to have been involved in the burning of houses in Arigu in the Walewale Constituency of the Upper East region of Ghana.

Some masked men on Monday, attacked residents and burnt down about eight houses in the area.

Some of them were not seriously injured, but others had gunshot wounds, Manasseh Amewolor, the Upper East Regional Welfare Officer, told Citi News.
