Tension is mounting in Yendi in the Northern region of Ghana over the arrest of Kpatinga-Naa, Naatogmah Ziblim.

The chief was enskinned on Monday by the Regent of the Abudus, Boling-Lana Abdulai Mahamadu.

Citi News is reliably informed that some armed military personnel on Tuesday arrested him and his whereabouts is yet to be established.

The situation has incurred the wrath of the Abudus in Yendi, who are burning lorry tyres on the principal streets of the Yendi Municipality.

A teacher in Yendi, Yakubu Salifu, confirmed the incident to Citi News.
