The President of the Polytechnic Teachers Association, Francis Atintono has said everything is being done to ascertain the cause of the reduction in members salaries for the month of February.
Polytechnic Teachers had their salaries slashed for no apparent reason; a situation which they say has become unbearable for them.
Atintono told Citi News said members are being advised to notify their various financial officers.
Meanwhile, the Controller and Accountant Generals Department has expressed surprise at the complaints the POTAG members are lodging.
Speaking to Citi News, the Acting Deputy Controller and Accountant General in Charge of Financial Management Services, Mr. Andrew Kufe calls for maximum restraint while steps are been taking to meet their demands.
He told Citi News an error might have occurred during the payout.
He thus expects the POTAG leadership to submit details of the aggrieved members to his office for the anomalies to be rectified.
