One person is reported dead in Kpatinga in the Gushegu District of the Northern region during curfew hours.
Residents of the area said the 17 year old Abdullah Anabani was shot by a soldier identified as Aboagye.
Kpatinga has been under curfew for months following the unrest which occurred due to the installation of two rival chiefs; the Regent of the Abudu gate, Bolilana Abdullai Mahamadu and the Kampakuyana, Naa Andani.
Citi News� Northern Regional correspondent, Abdul Karim Naatogmah, reported that �the victim died at the Tamale Teaching Hospital and was later buried at the Tamale Central Cemetery.�
According to him, the residents are accusing the Military of taking sides in the ongoing chieftaincy dispute.
